12:58 PM on Tuesday Aug 12, 2008---Michael Phelps is amazing and he is one of the only reasons to watch the Olympics, other reasons include USA Basketball, Baseball and that's about it. I'm not into the Olympics and the fact that they are in a place like Beijing doesn't help matters. Reasons not to watch the Olympics: Fake fireworks on television, 'ugly' girls not allowed to be seen while they sing the National Anthem, Politics of the country, murdering of Americans checking out National Monuments. ---Let's not get too excited about Aaron Rodgers, IT"S PRE-SEASON, but at least he did perform well enough to make Packer fans believe that he'll more likely be the next Brian Griese and not the next Jay Fiedler. If you think he's the next Steve Young, you're nuts if you use last night as evidence. ---Bigger positives from last nights game: The play of the Wide Receivers and Brandon Jackson. ---The Wisconsin Badgers football team is a talented group but I think the key, besides health, is how much the players buy into the '1-0' theory and how much rooming with teammates on the opposite side of the ball brings the team together. ---'1-0' is the idea of taking one play, series and game at a time ---Every Tuesday the team stays at a Hotel and rooms with a player on the opposite side of the ball, early returns are very positive.
